What are your stats? asked by Anonymous

I am 5’7 and weigh roughly 125lb

I don't know what to do, please give me some advice :/ I'm eating healthy and don't eat more than 1200 kcl a day, I'm working out at the gym 3-4 times a week (1 hour cardio, 1 hour strength training). I already lost 5 kg but now it seems like I'm stuck :/ I'm only 5 kgs away from my goal weight and I don't want to lose motivation. Please help! asked by Anonymous

Hey! First off, congrats on getting this far - it’s a long journey, don’t beat yourself up if it takes a while. Persevere, you can get there. Imo, you should be eating 1200 cals minimum, especially if you’re working out that much! Your body needs fuel and 1200 cals just won’t cut it. I know it’s tough (I’ve been there ) but try upping your calories - your body might have started storing fat because you’re not eating enough. You could also try mixing your workout up a bit? Try a different kind of cardio, do some classes at a gym (spin and dance are great!) or try interval training. If you set a routine, your body adjusts, and sometimes that makes you plateau. But remember weight is just a number - look at how you body looks! You might still be losing fat, but gaining muscle, so while your weight isn’t changing your body might be. Don’t let the scales dictate how you feel, go by how your body looks and feels. Stay healthy and keep at it and you’ll get there xx
